PMC holds Grand Opening
Parmer Medical Center celebrated its new state-of-the-art medical facility with a grand opening ceremony on Friday, October 22. The event started at 2:00, followed by a public address from Administrator, Lance Gatlin, FACHE, and a ribbon cutting marshaled by the PMC Board of Directors. Tours and refreshments topped off the afternoon.
The hospital was honored with the presence of an estimated 300 attendees, consisting of a large number of local residents and many guests attending from other regions of the Texas Panhandle and across the state. In attendance was Representative Warren Chisum, who briefly addressed the audience and commended the residents of Parmer County for their foresight and commitment to the ongoing provision of local healthcare services.
As indicated by Mr. Gatlin, while the new facility is a tremendous tool which will allow PMC to better serve its customers, the building itself is but brick & mortar. The caring staff and their commitment to excellence are what really makes PMC what it is. The Administrator also charged the public to hold the hospital to the highest standard of excellence.
The PMC Board of Directors and staff were pleased to share this historic occasion with our customers, friends and supporters.
