Parmer Medical Center staff hosts baby shower
The Parmer County Healthy Baby Coalition was the beneficiary of a baby shower held on Thursday, August 12th. The shower was hosted by the staff of Parmer Medical Center. All gifts and cash donations from the shower were donated to the coalition as rewards for the mothers who complete the pre-natal training offered by the organization.
Expectant mothers of any age are encouraged to participate in the classes to gain insight into both pre-natal and post-delivery information regarding childbirth. The coalition has seen five mothers thus far and are looking for more expectant mothers.
Several area churches are assisting the coalition by hosting a shower or fund drive.
