Hospital receives Texas Star Award
Parmer Medical Center was presented with the Texas Hospital Insurance Exchange Texas Star Award for Patient Safety on Thursday, June 10th. The award was presented to the hospital in recognition of stellar performance in promoting patient safety and quality health care. THIE recognized the facility for ensuring a safe patient environment for the period September 2007 through September 2009.
Accepting the award on behalf of PMC from THIE’s Barbara Wheeler, RN, Risk Management Manager, was Carmen Putman, RN, Director of Nursing, Dr. Jeff Dickson, Trauma Medical Director and Rhonda Wilkins, RN, Assistant Administrator.
